A Dull Rainy Sunday with Bright NYX Eyeshadows

Sunday and there wasn’t much for me to do and I didn’t like how gloomy the day looked. So I decided I wanted something bright, something eye catching and something funky. I own very little NYX Eyeshadow, but all of their pearl Mania Pigments. Anyway with the eyeshadows available I used what I had and created a bright look just for the day.

List of Products used:

The Body Shop Skin Primer
L’Oreal True Match Super- Blendable Perfecting Foundation (Golden Beige)
Sana Make Essence Concealer for under eyes
Cover Girl Professional Loose powder (Translucent Medium)

Red Earth Eye Primer – I’m starting to like this a bit more
NYX Mono Eyeshadow 75A Jazzy Pink
NYX Mono Eyeshadow 65B Violetta
NYX Mono Eyeshadow 155A Ultimatum
NYX Mono Eyeshadow 37A Lagoon Sparkle

Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer 261 Noir
Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil 071 Pure White
Maybelline the Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara
Maybelline Define-a-brow in soft black

Chi Chi Blush from Super Stack collection.
Estee Lauder Pure Colour Long Lasting Lipstick/Rouge 117 Rose Tea

Jazzy pink over the lids, Violetta on the crease blending with the pink and up to fade the colour out. Ultimatum was used as a brow bone highlighter and for the tea ducts of the eyes. Lagoon sparkle is placed directly under the black liner on my lower lash. White liner is under the wing of the black liner on the upper lash line, but I mixed the pure white colour into the NYX Lagoon Sparkle to give it a bluish colour.

I’ve never really ever worn something this bright out in public before. I copped an eyeful but I liked the colours and how bright it was on such a gloomy rainy day. I was only out for a few hours for lunch with the family.

I actually wore this look with glasses. I think I'm going to fall in love with NYX Eyeshadows from now on!
What do you guys think?
