4 Inglot Eyeshadow Swatches

Hope everyone is having a great week.  I should have shared these a while ago and I'm very delayed with the lip colours.  I've been so busy I'm going crazy, I never uses diaries or planners but I have gotten so confused with appointments/bookings/personal stuff that I don't know what is going on anymore.  It's too hard to keep everything up to date on a phone and I have a feeling sooner or later I'll have to get a tablet.  At the moment I'm am trying to hold off on getting a tablet only because it's so expensive and I don't feel like I should indulge so much.  I very much rather go on a holiday instead, but hopefully things will go according to plan.

Anyway during my last trip to Inglot with a friend because I recieved 2 gift cards for my birthday in March from friends.  I wanted so much to be spending on my kit rather than on myself.  I have way more than enough makeup for personal use, so why not expand the professional kit.

I've brought 3 matte and 1 with slight glitter.  The mint colour is absolutely beautiful and I loved it the minute I saw it.  The first colour that caught my eyes was the mint one and when I swatched it on my hand it was an instant winner.

A light neutral cream colour with a hint of glitter.
This photo so does not show how beautiful this colour is!!!

Matte 337
Taupe colour
Great for the crease!

Matte 323
Bright yellow
Unfortunately you can't really see the nice nuetral colour on the far left.
I couldn't find my Too Faced shadow Insurance so instead I had used Make Up Store Eye Primer Clear.

Matte 345
Soft, pastel mint colour
Absolutely love this one!

Many people had asked why I choose Inglot over some of ther brands.  I will be very honest, I love MAC and NARS and forever will.  However if you live in Australia you will understand that Inglot is WAY more affordable compared to MAC and NARS and some of the other better brands.  It's ridiculous how much we pay for cosmetics and it's totally unfair.  We pay $30+ for a MAC eyeshadow and around $39 for a NARS single eyeshadow and MAC blushes are at least $40 where NARS are $45.

There is a reason why Australians buy a load of makeup online and even with shipping, which seems kind of expensive when you work it out it is still so much more worth buying from overseas than locally.  Anyway mini rant over so if you're wondering where most of my makeup comes from they're bought online about 90% of the time.  There is also a wider range/brands online to choose from.  I dont' own a single makeup forever product, urban decay, etc.  We simply don't have these brands.  The eastern states have recently gotten a makeup forever and Illamasqua.  Majorly sad because I know Perth will need to wait probably another 10 years before anything comes here.

Anyway enjoy the rest of the week and the weekend.  I'll be having a busy Saturday, My brother is finally getting married after 10 or 11 years of dating.  I'll be busy busy with hair and makeup for my new sister-in-law who is now officially family, even though she had been considered family for years now.  Hopefully I'll have photos to share with you on their special day.

  1. Even here in the States where I have easy access to all of those brands, I'd take Inglot over MAC any day! It's more affordable and I feel a better quality. MAC eyeshadows make my eyes itch too.

    1. absolutely more affordable. Especially for any makeup artist who wants to build a decent kit at a good price. I mean I love the pigmentation in MAC eyeshadows more, but if Inglot have great quality for more product at a cheaper price and comes in the pan so I can stick them in a palette. YES I choose them over MAC.

I'm starting to venture into Inglot Foundations/concealers and see how well they go before deciding if I would expand into those for my makeup kit.
