My poor skin.... product testing...

The title says it all.  I may not have had absolutely perfect skin, but I have to say my skin was fairly good and hardly ever really had anything wrong with it beside a few little break outs during my... time of the month.

Recently I bought Physicians Formula Super BB cream and thought about some of the good stuff I had heard about it.  I should have known better to get it.  First it only comes in two shades light/medium and medium/dark.  It certainly does not suit everyone.  The light/medium is what I got for myself and it a tad too light but the medium/dark is too dark... already a fail yet I thought, it's winter in Perth so it should be alright and I can warm it up with Bronzer.

There was already so many signs telling me not to buy it but for once I went against it.  I skipped on their concealer and their powders. Just seems like products that are Unnecessary and just wanting to get more $$ out of your.

Formula isn't bad, it goes on smooth and has a dewy finish.  I noticed it doesn't settle well if you have large pores and mine aren't large so I can't imagine how bad it would be if the pores were larger!

I had worn it twice.  That's right... only twice.  I can hear people telling me, that's not testing a product.  you shouldn't judge it base on two experience.  Well I agree and I normally like to test them out more.

However if it breaks you out and leaves you horrible little red blemishes on your face and turns your skin into some ugly uneven red blotches all of the place.  I think there is no need to further test the product.

Here are some photos of the breakouts after it had a day to calm down.  It was much worse the day before I actually felt a little upset about it.

  1. I'm so sorry this happened to you :/ It's a risk to test out different products. I'm always surprised that people have skin reactions to big national brands. Many people I know broke out from MAC foundations.

Well, I hope you feel better soon. You need to give your skin some TLC :)

    1. Yes unfortunately without trying I would know if it works or not. I can't use MAC foundations, I can only use the Face and Body one. I also can't use Napoleon Perdis foundation either. I can't use Dermalogica beauty products as they give me a rash burn :(

It's healing pretty well and I give it time and fresh air and I'm going without foundation and powder so it heals faster :)
