Anyway back to the actual purpose of this post.  Chi Chi had released two new little compact palettes sometime earlier, but I didn't buy it.  I happened to had spent $30 or more at Target buying their False lashes and at the time they had a little deal.  You get a free Twist of Colour palette for free.  There was only two colours and I've forgotten what that one was, but I ended up choosing Hot Stuff.

This palette retails for $24.95 (AUD) or $29.99 (NZ).

Small, sleek, black compact

It's a cute little black compact palette that I beleive would be great for travel.  Simple yet efficient.  It contains 6 eyeshadow colours, 1 bronze me up bronzer, 1 burning up blush and 6 lipglosses.  Each compartment/section has a mirror so in total this whole compact has 3 mirrors!  It's actually heavier than I would have thought for something this small.

6 eyeshadows

bronzer and blush

6 lip glosses

How the compact is designed and it seriously does contain 3 mirrors :p

Here are some swatches of the content included in the palette.

Top and middle are eyeshadows
Bottom is blush and bronzer (love)

6 lip glosses, favourite is the coral colour on the top row in the middle

The eyeshadows are not bad and I had loved Chi Chi eyeshadows before.  However I have to say the Black is rather disappointing.  It's lack pigmentation and staying power.  The glitter in it is a bit tacky to my liking and it doesn't stay on or pack on well as it seems rather sheer.  The other colours however are great and pigmentation is not the best but it is definitely there.  The blush is cute and a rather nice shade of pink, but it look so shimmery so I wasn't much of a fan of it.  The bronzer I definitely love!  Most bronzers these days are all shimmery or glittery and that is a big no no to me.  This one is defintely a matte and a great colour for my shade of skin.  I love it and it doesn't go on too heavy so you can build up the colour you need.

The lipglosses are those of a typical sticky ones and most of them are sheer.  Then again it does it job and does give your lips a little bit of colour.

It's not the best thing out there but it is good and for beginners looking for something on a budget Chi Chi has a range of good products that are affordable compared to the more expensive brands.

I also did an FOTD using this palette as an example on how it could be used.

Did this in the morning before work hence the hair clips in my hair :p

Silly photo!

simple purple/pink eyes and the coral lipgloss from the palette.  I also used the bronzer and blush in the palette :)
Hope everyone is having a great day and hope you also have a great weekend!  Keep tuned as another FOTD is coming up soon featuring Still Glamorous Pigments :)
