Rimmel Bold Behaviour EOTD/FOTD

Back again with another EOTD and this time featuring Rimmel Colour Rush Quad Eye Shadow in 014 Bold Behaviour. My dear friend Cheryl had mentioned she didn’t like these eye shadow palettes in particular, so I assume she had some poor experience with them. However I remember I actually own one of that quad eye shadow so I went digging in my pile of eyeshadows and found them quickly since I had just recently organised them.

Anyway here is what the looked like in the end…

FOTD... no hair because it was not done when I took this photo :p

I actually wore this look today with my glasses...
I actually kind of remember why I only used this Rimmel Quad once after I bought it. The pigmentation isn’t that great. The green colour is perfectly beautiful but the other three aren’t that great at all. It takes a lot of effort to actually build up the colours, thus it is not something I want to spend too much time doing when you’re in a rush to whack that makeup on.

Anyway what do you guys think?

Had anyone else used the Rimmel Quad from this range?

Have a great weekend!!

Childhood Memories – Bubblegum Ice Cream Inspired look

I remember when I was just that little Chinese girl who always wanted to eat ice cream and my mum would give in to me once in a while. I always chose the bubblegum flavour which was always a mixture of blue, pink, purple and sometimes yellow. It was my most favourite ice cream flavour back then and when I saw it the other day I just had to smile. My original plan to get my favourite nowadays which is rum and raisin was forgotten. I had to get the bubblegum flavour just as if I was still that little girl. Sadly they call it rainbow now…

Enough rambling, I’m popping in to share yet another EOTD with you guys and today the colours are similar to that of the ice cream flavour.

Pink all over the lid

Placed blue in crease and raised just a bit higher

Added Purple to the outer corner and lower lash line

Gel Liner and Glitter Liner added, No Mascara yet...

EYES:

Too Faced Shadow Insurance – Eye Primer

Manly 120 Palette – Pink, Blue, Purple and White

colours used for the look are marked with a yellow star

Coastal Scents Gel Liner – True Black

Chi Chi Glitter Liner

I don’t have a full face shot of my face but just some extra information on what I wore that day.

FACE:

MSCHIC Face Canvas (in the process of testing this primer)

Sana Make Essence Concealer – light yellow (for under eyes)

Eve Pearl HD Dual Foundation – Light

Eve Pearl Concealer Trio “A”

Eve Pearl Loose Setting Powder

LIP:

NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss – 155 Perfect

I thought the colour combination turned at kind of sweet like the flavour of that ice cream.

Size 7, not the best quality but it's cheap so I don't expect it to last years

Couldn’t resist sharing a pair of new “Cheap” shoes with you guys as well.  I bought these silver flats from Target for $15 AUD and I actually originally wanted a pair of the black ones in this style but their smallest size was 8.  Is it me or is 6 and 7 a very common size that always sells out first!  Grrrr… the pain of buying shoes is always not having them in my size :(

I just had to pair them up with my new pair of leggings.  I don't know what it is but I love leggings!

Organisation Tip #1

Hi guys I’m thinking of starting a small series where I post about some tips on organisation for makeup and beauty products. It’s kind of like updating once in a while when I find new ways to organise my makeup.

Anyway I thought I share this with you guys and I’m pretty sure you’ve seen other people do them too. I was shopping and I popped into the shop Thingz temporary sale store to have a quick browse. I never thought I would come out buying cutlery trays for $4.99 each. They only had 3 so I only bought 3, but it would have been great if I could have gotten another 2 or 3 more of these trays. The quality is really good and the size of the tray is great too.

It has the grip on the bottom so I didn’t lay out my own grips to stop products from sliding all over the place. Originally I don’t like using my blue drawers under my table, because the products would be sliding all over the place and it was hard to use to organise small objects like eyeshadows and pigments.

This little simple cutlery tray did the trick, it is a perfect fit in the tray and a great size for storing eyeshadows and pigments too!

Only $4.99

They’re handy because if you’re every changing the organisation around you can just pull out the whole tray and the makeup neatly organised is still going to be neatly organised as it was.  I love this new find and will be looking out for more trays and containers to use as storage for my growing collection.

Here are some photos of how I used them.

Eve Pearl, Majolica Majorca, Jesse's Girl, MSCHIC, NYX, Savvy, Bourjois, Prestige, etc

Most of my eyeshadows are stored neatly into the sections of the cutlery tray and I like how it is so easy to grab what I need instead of flipping through drawers to find what I want.

Jesse's Girl Pigments, Sleek, NYX

This one is my absolute favourite!  Majority of the pigments are all in here now instead of my little black office drawers on my table.  I even turned them upside down and sideways so I can see the colours and grab the ones I want without having to flip through.

MSCHIC Face Canvas, Eve Pearl Anti-shine, MSCHIC pigments, Facial Cream

I used the third tray to store a bit of my pigments that didn’t fit into the other tray, but also my primers, powder, concealer, blushes, creams and liquid liners and sample size mascaras.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post and hopefully it gives you guys and idea on how to store your makeup.

Yellow and Black with a hint of Glitter – Manly 120 Palette Look #5

Yet another EOTD to share with everyone and yet again I pulled out the Manly 120 palette. I love this palette because it so cheap yet the quality of it is quite good too. I always wanted to try the yellow and black combination but I added in my own kick to it. I added some glitter to my lids to give it a bit of a sparkle. I never actually thought I would wear a black and yellow eyeshadow combination, because I always thought I couldn’t pull it off. It might not look great on me, but I think it doesn’t look that bad.

This is glitter eyeliner that I reviewed in an early post last month. It is one of the glitter eyeliners from the Chi Chi haul. I used this to put glitter over my lids and it was only put over the yellow eyeshadow to give it a bit of a sparkle effect. Unfortunately the photos don’t really pick up the glitter very well so it doesn’t look as nice as it does in real life.

Here are the photos…

I did not use eyeliner because I thought that the black that I tried to smoke out a bit (obvious fail) was a bit too much to be adding black eyeliner to my lids. I just use the Maybelline Colossal Mascara to give my eyelashes a bit of a boost.

The lower lash line is not eyeliner it’s just the black eyeshadow but I made it darker, instead of blending it out a bit to make it softer.
