Products I didn’t like…

I remember a while back during my giveaway someone mentioned something about me listing some products I’ve bought and tried but really didn’t like and would most likely never buy again. Mandy’s Lazy Makeup Routine

It feels so good to be back in the blogging world. How much I had missed posting here, but I guess sometime in life it just needs to be put on hold in order to get things done. I couldn’t afford the distraction that blogging would give me since I needed to concentrate on getting my portfolio done for school. I was behind schedule and going crazy as the deadline crept up so close. I actually only managed to make it in time and I was so relieved. That wasn’t the end of it and I had to study for the theory exam and then the week after that I had the practical exam. It was very hectic and I was definitely going nuts with my lack of sleep and balancing it with work at night didn’t make things easy.

Anyway enough rambling about what happened in the pass weeks I’ve been away. Today I’m here to share my frequent lazy makeup routine when I have those days of not wanting to really put on much makeup but can’t afford to walk out with a naked face.

1. Cetaphil Cleanser and Moisturiser to start



2. NP Set Pre-foundation Primer set



3. Eve Pearl Concealer for under eyes



4. Shills Super Magic BB Cream



5. CoverGirl Professional Loose powder to set the BB cream and Concealer



6. Australis Eye Pencil in Smoke to line the eyes



7. Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara to thicken and lengthen lashes



8. NYX Blush in Natural for some colour on the cheeks



9. NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Perfect to give the lips a bit of colour and shine



10. Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Black Brown to fill in the brows and define the shape better


Yep…


That’s pretty much all I do on those days that I’m too lazy or tired to be doing anything nice or fancy. Most school days were like this actually but it did give my tired appearance a big lift.

I am Back!

I miss blogging soooooooooooooooooo much!

School is finally over and I've done all I can, but unfortunately I don't get to know if i completely passed everything until early January.  Despite that I've passed all my assessments and portfolio so that is a good start right?

I enrolled in the next course so hopefully I've passed and will be able to do that one starting next year.  I'm one step closer to my dream already!  I'm also loving bridal makeup so much that I felt emotional when the photographer was going through my photos that he took for my final practical assessment.

But anyway...

BRING ON THE HOLIDAYS!!

oh dear god I hope those eye bags will diminish from now on and not get bigger!

Hopefully my blog will get back on track and things will pick up again before it has to slow down when my next course start.  I miss you guys so much and I thank you for the continuous support even when I was away.  I was expecting the follower list to actually drop in numbers but I'm even HAPPIER to see it had gone up.  You guys made my day already :)

Stay tuned for up coming posts and I so got a lot of blog reading to catch up on.  I've only managed to drop in once in a while when I was away and I know I am very far behind!

Where have I been?

This post is long overdue and as some of you may have noticed, I have been a bit MIA lately.  I sincerely apologise and no I have not stopped blogging or abandoned this blog.  I've simply been really hectic with juggling work and trying to do a portfolio and prepare for exams and what not with Makeup school all going on.  I'm in my final weeks and things are seriously heating up for me.  I'm a bit behind schedule so I've been busting my ass really hard to get a move on.

I shall probably not be posting any more update until at least after 10th December (When my course is finished), so please be patient and I've got stuff lined up waiting to be edited and shared with you guys.  After the 10th December I will also start building a blog that revolves around my professional makeup journey and what not so keep an eye out for that.

Thanks to all my followers who had been so nice and supporting and thanks to the all the new followers for coming and reading my blog too.  I can't believe I'm nearly at the 100 mark!  It is so exciting since I never ever even thought I would ever get this much when i first started this blog.

Thanks to those who wrote me emails asking if I was well.  Very much appreciated for your concerns about my health :D

For now I shall take my leave and get back to my short hellish moment, see you guys all soon after the 10th December!
